Japan in the World Cup - Samurai soccer in Brazil?

You will never believe what this youtube video is all about. See if you can guess based on the following:

1. There is a Japanese guy dressed up as a samurai;
2. He is not just good at soccer, he is incredible;
3. He is in Brazil wowing the crowds at the World Cup.

Here is another photo, only slightly different to the dressed up samurai. Which one do you like? What did you think of the youtube video? Are these the sort of things you have come to expect from the Japanese?

One does not simply learn Kanji

I couldn't agree more. Kanji is hard work. Of course there are some tips and tricks worth knowing, like learning the radicals first, and of course there is some great joy in recognising kanji for the first time after having learnt one, but generally learning Kanji is hard work.
